Projectbeschrijving
Every drop of Spa was once a drop of rain. In the beautiful area of Spa, in the heart of the Belgian Ardennes, soil and nature work together to transform every drop of rain into some of Europe’s purest mineral water. As an ode to the never-ending source of Spa, we built an installation that turned drops of rain into sounds and light animations projected onto Spa’s nature.

This resulted in The Rain Project, an engaging 2-minute online video, supported by additional content.

Spa is the original Belgian mineral water that springs from the Fagnes and has been bottled straight from source since 1583. The area of Spa is in the heart of the Belgian Ardennes, within a protected nature reserve of 13,000 hectares. Throughout its journey, the purity of the water is well protected: by nature itself, naturally, but by man as well. Everything possible is done to safeguard nature, and thus the purity of the water.
Doelgroep(en)
The content had to engage fans, light users and non-users alike. It also had to complement ATL strategy by reaching audiences we couldn't reach with traditional media.

Spa's water comes from natural mineral springs in the heart of the Belgian Ardennes. Spa goes to great lengths to protect this area, to bring people the purest possible mineral water. Purity and protection are at the heart of Spa's philosophy.
To tell this story in an engaging way, we developed a digital concept about Spa's nature reserve in a surprising and impactful way.
The result was The Rain Project, content created to celebrate the nature in Spa and the never-ending source of Spa water.

Our concept had to engage fans, light users and non-users alike. It also had to complement ATL strategy by reaching audiences we couldn't reach with traditional media. But how could we make an initially dull-looking story about nature appeal to our target audience?
