During the first Young Talent Finals international and Dutch nominees competed for the SpinAwards Young Talent. In three days they got the chance to learn from coaches, competition and interesting key note speakers. And of course to improve their pitches! On the 20th of April students have presented their groundbreaking digital ideas to the jury and audience at Pakhuis de Zwijger. The grand finale took place during the SpinAwards Night, in Het Sieraad, on the 21st of April. Three teams were awarded with a SpinAward.

Winners edition & jury report 2016
We have witnessed the development of the SpinAwards category ‘Young Talent’ from the small and more informal competition for students in the beginning to the prestegious international 'digital award’ talent program it is today. Personally we consider Young Talent as the most interesting category of the SpinAwards. Simply because the creative cases of these student surpass the category silos of the ‘regular' SpinAwards. Most of the student entries can be consider to be digital business cases, where the participants have created creative digital solutions for problems or challenges they see in their daily lives. Since this year SpinAwards Young Talent is an international competition, with nominated students from the Netherlands, UK, France and Denmark. This definitely positively contributed to the quality of the nominated work presented to us as the jury. We expect that SpinAwards Young Talent will continue to grow the coming years further, towards a permanent digital talent development platform that is bigger than the Awards alone.
